Introducing to you....KENAE.

KAE is BEYOND pleased to introduce the newest member of our team, Kenae. We may be biased however, we think you're going to love her.

Get to know a little more about her below!

1. Finish this sentence, "by looking at me, you'd never know that......."

I am excited about being an old lady one day. I feel like once you hit a certain age, you have so much knowledge through life experiences, that you don’t sweat the small stuff as much. I also think it’s going to be hilarious to be that funny, cool Grandmom who does the whip, nae-nae and dabs at family parties.

2. Hidden talent?

I have really good intuition. “My gut” feeling is almost always right and I feel like I know something is going to happen before it does.

3. Favorite book & tv show?

My favorite book is The Alchemist! It changed my perspective on life. I got it in August and have re-read it probably 4 times. My favorite TV show is Judge Judy.

4. Dream job?

My dream job would to be an anchor or correspondent for E! News.

5. Why KAE?

KAE was something I was genuinely interested in because I love that it incorporates two characteristics that I pride myself for obtaining, compassion and style.

6. What college and major?

Philadelphia’s Temple University! Major in Media Studies and Production.

7. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

Do things that make you proud of yourself. Whether it is your grades, bank account, generosity or health… Make yourself proud.

8. How would your friends describe you?

Ambitious, funny, genuine and always there to help friends feel good about themselves.

9. What's your favorite fashion trend and what do you think is a timeless staple?

I love the Street wear look. Anything Yeezy-like appeals to me.

A timeless staple for women is the classic wrap dress. It hugs and accentuates the body so elegantly. Look up old Hollywood images and new ones, the wrap dress has always been prevalent and I don’t see this trend ever going out of style.

10. University or life experience, which do you feel prepares you for life?

Life experience is inevitable and needed, however University experience is what gives you that new perspective into various topics that you wouldn’t have learned from just living. For instance, I used to hate the concept of liberal education…Why do I need to learn about things that have NOTHING to do with my major? As I enter my Senior year of college, I am so grateful for the liberal education Temple has provided me with because although it may not directly correlate to my major, I know having wide spread knowledge will come in to play at some point of my career/life.

11. What would we catch you doing on a regular Friday night?

On a Friday night you could find me dressed up in Philly bar being silly with my friends.

12. Describe your style in three words.

Style with Ease. “Steezy”.

13. What's the most tragic thing you wore in high school?

My Junior Prom dress. It was really gaudy with big jewels. It was multi-colored with cheetah print in it as well. The crazy thing is that I was OBSESSED with it. I wouldn’t give that dress a second look and probably would cringe to the idea of wearing it if I saw it today.

14. If you could only wear one piece of jewelry, what would it be?

Hoop earrings.

15. KAE's message is "kindness above everything" Why is this important to you?

This is important to me because this message can seriously save lives. Whenever I feel down I count on my friends’ and family’s kindness to help bring me back to a good spot. However, some people don’t have that support system that I do. We need to be kind to everyone not just our close friends or family because of this. The simplest rude move or comment could be the moment that breaks someone. Therefore, it is so crucial to put kindness above everything because on the contrary, the simplest act of kindness could make someone’s day and be the moment they realize things can get better.
