Be Kind & Free.

July 3, 2017

When this time of year comes along, we hurriedly begin with the 'red, white and blue' decorations, cupcakes, outfits, hashtags, statuses, etc. We promised that our brand would give purpose to your dollars and everyone's purpose begins with motivation and truth.

We encourage you to keep the following things in mind when celebrating tomorrow's festivities:

  • The feeling of freedom is one that everyone should experience and the truth is, the day we are celebrating tomorrow is one that stems from a freedom that, at the time, was only granted to a specific religion and color. We see remnants of this unbelievable truth today. We encourage you to use this day to think of how others may view today and be sensitive towards their thoughts and emotions. The only way to progress is to talk more and argue less.

  • The Pledge of Allegiance of the United States is an expression of allegiance to the Flag of the United States and the republic of the United States of America, originally composed by Rear Admiral George Balch in 1887. It was later revised by Francis Bellamy in 1892 and formally adopted by Congress as the pledge in 1942. The official name of The Pledge of Allegiance was adopted in 1945. The last change in language came on Flag Day 1954 when the words "under God" were added. As a brand that was created under KAE Founder's belief in God and awareness of His continued and unfailing kindness, it's important to remind ourselves how important the words "under God" actually are. The beautiful thing about God is that He has created no one on this earth less than another. We are all equal, loved, forgiven, and freed. He has created us all and therefore, we have all been given the same amount of grace. May we remember this today, tomorrow and every day after.

Be sure to use this day to celebrate 'freedom' for all people, the need for diversity and the importance of kindness and progress.

Happy Fourth of July from KAE!

Live loved.
